Here is @certifiednosh an amazing London-based food account/brand run by the foodie star Sam Harris, a gal born and bred in London who has an extreme passion for the cities culinary scene.
Epic Eats has searched and found the best foodies to feature in the app. The foodies are food experts in their respective cities and eating out at restaurants, is their hobby. They know exactly what’s hot at the moment. We collect and feature the best of them for our app users to access the best possible information on food and restaurants wherever they go.
Certified Nosh’s story by Sam:
1- How come you started Certified Nosh? I started Certified Nosh as a hobby as I LOVE eating out and trying the newest restaurants. I also love photography and Instagram so it felt like a natural thing to do. I wanted to share my exciting foodie finds with everyone else and shout about the restaurants/dishes I loved.
2- What is the purpose or what do you want to achieve with it? I want to give great food establishments the praise and attention they deserve to help spread the word and allow more people to have the same great experience I had. London is a big city and choosing where to eat can be very daunting so I hope my recommendations can help. I use hashtags so that restaurants can be discovered by cuisine e.g. #CertifiedItalian #CertifiedJapanese and I am just about to launch a website so that they can be searched by area too. I’m pinning my certified places on a London food map!
3- Which are the best places in London according to Certified Nosh for:
Business lunches: Mash, Granger & Co, The Modern Pantry, The Ivy, Dean Street Townhouse
Romantic dinners: Sketch, Hawksmoor, Pidgin, The Frog, Sushi Samba, Clos Maggiore
Kids: Royal China, Smollensky’s, Rainforest Cafe, Sticky Fingers, Wahaca, Homeslice
Drinks: Copita, Discount Suit Company, Sage + Wilde, NT’s Bar, Cahoots, Basement Sate, Nightjar
Hanging out with Friends: Blacklock, St. John, Radici, Morito, El Pastor, Tramshed
A first date: Flat Iron, Oslo, Popolo, Untitled, Bun House & Tea Room
A quick bite: Radio Alice, The Good Egg, Ichibuns, Padella, Baozilnn, Patty & Bun, Dishoom
4- Which restaurants are you really looking forward to visiting? (in London or elsewhere) The Ledbury, The Fat Duck, Restaurant Story, The Pig, The Clove Club, Dans Le Noir, Osteria Francescana (Modena, Italy)
5- Anything else you will like to mention about you? I aim to inspire my followers and inform them of the coolest, newest and best places to eat out and go in London and beyond. I travel quite a bit too so will always share my foodie finds wherever I go. Come follow along :).
